Key responsibilities:

  • Planning, creating and implementing the marketing strategy for the product range
  • Develop and build thought leadership, and lead the thinking about the future direction of products in my client’s category
  • Define and manage our competitive position, and create competitive advantage for my client, by working with the SVP Product Management to establish the product suite as a global leader in the marketing technology space
  • Be accountable (with others) for the commercial performance of the product range through effective pricing, packaging and positioning
  • Be accountable (with others) for the review and implementation of consistent and effective sales processes across company teams
  • Build powerful marketing assets, pitch material, case studies and other collateral to underpin the product range
  • Support the evolution of the xxx brand brand across the agency teams and with clients
  • Ensure the knowledge, skills and capabilities of the group’s agency teams are commensurate with the competencies required to win in this sector.
  • Collaborate with the partner enablement teams to develop technical skills and deliver education programmes. Drive the adoption and use of the product suite internally and externally.
  • Work with the company CMO to identify , support and manage product marketing campaigns, building a clear CRM capability in support of the product
  • Support the SVP Product Management by evangelising about my client’s standard product management processes and disciplines
  • Demonstrate capability to use data to inform decisions about product direction and development

Sk Skills, knowledge and experience

  • Strategic thinker
  • Strong leader, collaborator and natural communicator
  • Deep knowledge of marketing and the marketing value chain
  • 5 years in a global marketing leadership role responsible for driving revenue and managing commercial performance of a suite of products, particularly in the marketing, technology or data categories
  • Experience of B2B marketing to global and regional clients
  • Experience of marketing to senior executives and marketing leads in various sectors
  • Knowledge of product development process, sales and distribution
  • Adopt an analytical approach to the prioritisation of product backlog
  • Experience of working in a widely distributed organisational structure
  • Business development background will be useful
  • Degree or (ideally) MBA educated
  • Able to travel when required
