You will be a experienced and capable financial/accounting analyst supporting on finance and sales operational areas for the UK and Western Europe. Key responsibilities:

  • Monitoring Marketing POs, following up on GR’s across the region to ensure spend is recorded accurately
  • Preparing of Marketing Opex Accruals, where required
  • Marketing Opex Budget/Forecast planning
  • Deliver Monthly reporting on Opex spend vs. Budget/Forecast in detail
  • Handle internal & external audit requirements for Marketing Opex area
  • Work with Marketing team to define key KPIs for the area, measuring performance and highlighting improvements where needed
  • Be the Region “Expert” on the company Spend Policy
  • Marketing related Vendor Creation, gathering all required documentation and approvals
  • Co-ordinate statutory reporting requirements for Western Europe e.g tax, VAT
  • Ad-hoc finance tasks

Key skills and experience:

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced start-up environment embracing changes everyday
  • Intermediate Excel Skills
  • Understanding and previous experience of business finance for a marketing department
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship skills and the ability to effectively communicate to various audiences
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to set priorities and meet challenging deadlines
  • Ability to work well on a team and independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and good follow-through.
